Review and Export Proposal Costs
Open a saved proposal summary and click Excel export to download a spreadsheet for internal review. It lists the base product first, then proposal sections and their products in the same order as the summary. Sections with products remain in the export even when they do not contribute to the proposal total. Empty sections are omitted.
Use the In proposal total column to check what is counted:
- Yes means the row belongs to a section included in the total.
- No means the section or item is shown for reference, but its cost and sell amounts are excluded from the final proposal total. A section must have both Include in Proposal and Calculate Total enabled to contribute.
- Base product only on a primary section subtotal means the base product is included, but that section’s products are not.
The spreadsheet also shows section subtotals where Calculate Total is enabled and a final Proposal Total row. An excluded section’s subtotal can still show its own amounts; check the In proposal total column before adding subtotals together. The Visibility / property column identifies details-only sections and product display settings such as Hidden. A hidden product in an included section still affects the proposal total.
For a standard pool, Pool freight and Pool delivery appear directly below the pool as separate internal cost rows when those costs are set. They increase the pool cost, the primary section’s cost subtotal, and the final proposal cost. They do not increase the pool’s sell price or the customer’s proposal total. The staff cost view on the proposal summary shows the same breakdown when costs are toggled on. These pool transport rows do not apply to custom pools or pool covers.
The Excel file includes internal costs, including hidden items. Review it before sharing it outside your team. The customer-facing proposal does not show the pool transport cost breakdown.
