Customer Timeline
The Timeline brings important customer activity and comments together in one chronological view. Use it to understand what has happened on a customer record without checking each tab separately.
Open a customer timeline
- Open Customers and select a customer.
- Select the Timeline tab.
- Review the newest activity first.
Events are separated by date and show who performed the action. When an event contains a longer description, click View full message to expand it and Show less to collapse it again.
Load older activity
Neptune loads recent activity first so large customer histories remain responsive. Select Load older events at the bottom of the timeline to retrieve the next group of older activity.
When a timeline is opened for the first time, Neptune may briefly show Building timeline while existing customer history is prepared.
Add a comment
- Click the comment field at the top of the Timeline.
- Enter the note you want to record.
- Click Post comment.
The comment appears at the top of the timeline with your name and the time it was posted.
If a comment does not appear immediately, wait for the Timeline to finish refreshing before posting it again.
