uDrew Integration

Neptune supports uDrew in two different ways:

  • Plan Pool on a customer record - lets you open the uDrew planner from a customer page and save generated images back to that customer.
  • uDrew lead syncing - sends uDrew lead submissions into Neptune so they can be reviewed and converted.

These are related, but they are not the same workflow.

1. How the Plan Pool button works on a customer

You will see the Plan Pool button on a customer card when:

  • uDrew is enabled for your Neptune account
  • Your organisation has the uDrew planning widget configured

When you click Plan Pool:

  1. A Pool Planning panel opens.
  2. Neptune loads uDrew with that customer context.
  3. The planner uses the customer location details (build address when available, otherwise the main address).

When a design image is sent back from uDrew, Neptune saves it to that customer’s uploads so your team can review it later.

You can find these files in the customer Uploads tab.
See: Customer Uploads

If the Plan Pool button is missing, your account likely needs uDrew enabled or configured by an admin.

2. How uDrew leads are fed into the uDrew Leads tab

uDrew leads are synced into Neptune through your organisation’s uDrew integration key (managed in Admin Integrations).

Setup:

  1. Go to Admin → Integrations → uDrew.
  2. Generate an API key.
  3. Share that key securely with uDrew so their lead submissions can be sent to your Neptune account.

After setup, the flow is automatic:

  1. A lead is submitted through uDrew.
  2. Neptune receives the submission and attaches it to your organisation.
  3. The lead appears in Enquiries → uDrew Leads.
  4. Your team can open the lead and either convert it to a customer, create a lead record, or delete it.

Neptune also avoids duplicate cards from the same ongoing uDrew session by updating the existing record when follow-up data arrives.

If your account uses the newer Lead Inbox flow, uDrew submissions may be auto-created as leads and handled there.

Important distinction

The Plan Pool customer widget and the uDrew Leads feed are separate:

  • Plan Pool sends generated design outputs to a customer’s uploads.
  • uDrew Leads receives contact/enquiry submissions from uDrew lead syncing.

If you are troubleshooting where a record should appear, check whether you are looking for a design file (Customer Uploads) or a new inbound lead (uDrew Leads).
